Having Poor Dental Care can Lead to Death.
Back in 2007 a 12 year old boy dies from an untreated tooth infection. The infection spread to his brain and he had have two brain surgeries, though despite this the young boy passed away. Saddly this is not the first time a child or and adult die due to poor dental care. Cases like these are normally based on lack of dental insurance, for a low income family without dental insurance benefits, the cost of dental services are just to high.
However, tragedy like the 12 year old boy dose not have to happen. In most states there are low cost dental insurance and dental plans for individuals and their family. These plans can start as low as $15.00 a month. If cost is still an issue, there are other options for dental care such as dental schools and dental clinics. For children there is normally a state run program that can help minors receive needed dental care.
